The God of Second Chances

The book of Jonah follows the story of a rebellious prophet, but more so, it is the story of God's relentless grace toward those who are perishing. In today's text, the Lord renews His Word to Jonah, who begrudgingly takes the Word of the Lord to the people of Ninevah. Time and again, we see the power of the Word of the Lord in working salvation. But watch out because the same Word hardens others!
