Fear of the Lord

The book of Jonah follows the story of a rebellious prophet, but more so, it is the story of God's relentless grace toward those who are perishing. In today's text we see the contrast between a man who claims to fear the Lord with pagan sailors who truly fear the Lord, leading us to question whether we truly have the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom.
