Rich in Compassion

The book of Jonah follows the story of a rebellious prophet, but more so, it is the story of God's relentless grace toward those who are perishing. In today's text, as we wrap up the book of Jonah, God shows His embittered prophet - and us - how magnificent and justified is His mercy toward sinners. And as we hear God's heartbeat of mercy, it compels us to turn that mercy outward toward those around us.
