Opposition

The book of Ezra recounts the faithfulness of God in restoring the remnant of His people to the Promised Land, and the restoration of worship. Throughout the book we see the work of God in not only rebuilding but reviving and renewing His people. In today's text, Ezra recounts nearly a century-worth of opposition that the people of God had faced. This not only demonstrated the faithfulness of God through the midst of adversity, but also the relentless strategies of the Enemy to infiltrate, intimidate, accuse, and disrupt.
