Repentance

The book of Ezra recounts the faithfulness of God in restoring the remnant of His people to the Promised Land, and the restoration of worship. Throughout the book we see the work of God in not only rebuilding but reviving and renewing His people. In today's text, Ezra sets an example of complete confession, while leading God's people in genuine repentance. While the applications of repentance differ, the message of radical repentance holds true today.
