Gather [gath -er]: to bring together into one group or place; to bring together from various places; to come together or assemble.
Scripture teaches us to regularly gather as a community so that we can worship God and strengthen one another (Hebrews 10:24-25). At First Baptist Church we gather to worship God through song, teaching of the Word, and giving of our tithes. To worship God authentically means giving all that we are to God without reservation, lifting up the name of Jesus. We also gather together in transparent community, studying the Bible together. It is through the relationships of this community that we grow in our application of the truths of Scripture. We challenge one another, pray for one another, and support one another.
