Starting November 3rd, our Discipleship Groups will be studying the book of Colossians together, verse-by-verse. This small letter to the church in Colossae is packed with incredible truths about who Jesus is, who we are, and how we ought to live when we keep Jesus in the center. Mark Vroegop describes the book of Colossians this way:
This New Testament book identifies the core of Christianity like few other books in the Bible. The writer, Paul, uses only four chapters to succinctly and powerfully highlight the centrality of Christ and demonstrate how it applies to life. Paul wants to bring this church back to the core message of the gospel so that they will know how to live.

How we will study Colossians
Unlike our study during the Spring and Summer of Ezra and Nehemiah, this study will be more guided with questions to answer as you study the text throughout the week, questions to discuss when we gather in our groups, and then specific action steps we can take in light of what we have learned.
The study guide was written by Dustin Crowe, the Pastor of Discipleship at Pennington Park Church, and is free for download. If you would rather have a printed copy of the study guide, please indicate so when you sign up for this round of discipleship groups.
If you want to supplement your study, Dustin has also recently written a book that studies the message of the book of Colossians in greater depth. It is available on Amazon for $12.
Are you in?
There will be no cost to join this discipleship group, only your commitment to read and come prepared, and then discuss honestly how the text applies to your life. We will have both men’s and women’s groups meeting, both in the morning and the evening to accommodate your schedule. Are you ready to live with Jesus at the center of your life?
